What you are using

The site and the downloadable offline verifier are provided free of charge by Attested Intelligence Holdings LLC. Sealing and verifying run in your browser; your content and your signing key never leave your device, as described on the privacy page. There is no account, no subscription, and no paid tier.

What a passing check does and does not establish

A passing check proves the sealed data is unaltered since sealing and matches the record. It does not prove the contents are true, who sealed them, or an independently attested time: the sealing time in a record is self-reported by the device that sealed it. The full boundary is stated on the about page, and the exact verification rules are in the published specification.

• A record is not notarization and is not a legal opinion.
• Whether a record is persuasive or decisive in any given dispute is a determination for the relevant tribunal and your own counsel in your jurisdiction. We make no representation about that outcome.
• If you may need to rely on a record later, retain the record itself and, for a file record, the original file. A record referencing a file you no longer hold proves nothing about content you cannot produce.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you seal, for complying with the laws that apply to you, and for keeping the records and files you may later need.
• Do not misrepresent what a verification result means. A VERIFIED verdict speaks to integrity of the sealed bytes, never to the truth, authorship, or timing of the content.
• The tool must not be used to harass, defraud, or mislead, or in any unlawful way. We may withhold or discontinue the hosted service at any time; records you already hold remain verifiable offline.

Provided as is; limitation of liability

The site, the offline verifier, the specification, and the conformance vectors are provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attested Intelligence Holdings LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the tool or reliance on a record, including loss of data, loss of a record or its original file, or the outcome of any dispute. You are responsible for the keys, records, and content you handle.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms; the current version is always at this address, and the date below states when it last changed. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Records you sealed before a change remain verifiable exactly as before: verification is offline math over the record, and no change to this page can alter it.
